Dear parents/carers,

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Sunday 10th May we will be working towards opening our schools to more pupils. Currently, we are waiting for additional information and guidance as to which children and how many, schools will be open to. I would like to assure you that the safety of our children will be our primary consideration when planning for greater numbers of children to attend.

We are pleased to share the following letter with you regarding a daily Phonics lesson offer for EYFS to Year 2. This has been set up by the Department for Education and begins on Monday 27th April. It is accessible via the YouTube channel linked here.

Guide for parents - Online Phonics lessons

During this period of school closure, we are pleased to be able to continue to offer eligible parents and pupils access to free school meals by supplying supermarket eGift cards, that can be spent locally to you.

In previous weeks, we have provided eligible parents and pupils with a £15 eCode per week. During the week commencing 27th April, eligible pupils will be issued with a £60 eCode, the equivalent of £15 per week for four weeks.

Advice and support is available for children with physical difficulties who are supported by the Physical Difficulties Support Service (Sandra Paddock or Siobhan O'Donnell). Please see the flyer below

The DfE have funded these eGift cards as part of a national scheme for the value of £15 per week. You will be able to choose which supermarket you would like an eGift card for including Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Tesco and more.
